The reason Im fighting who I fight is because I start like most fighters, at the bottom. One of my fights is on the net, not on youtube because I dont care about youtube. I really am not going to get into a useless conversation about Kimbo. This thread is about Gina and Kaitlin. I dont care about Kimbo and I dont care about you. Go away.

i respect the fact that Kimbo is putting in work, and training hard. but that is expected of any professional fighter. aside from that, he is being force fed to the mainstream as an MMA LEGEND already, and has faced nobody near top 50 competition yet.

if he proves me wrong, and starts knocking out guys the likes of Tim Sylvia, Fedor, Randy Couture, and Nog, i will be the first person to acknowledge it and give him props. but he has yet to beat anyone worthy of even having a UFC contract, much less the IFL or WEC.

until then, he should be heralded no more than Ben Rothwell. a promising new HW who has yet to really be tested, or face top competition.

better yet, he doesnt even come close to sniffing Ben Rothwell's jock at this point. but you would never know that by the way he is marketed, the way the mainstream media portrays him, and the purses he is receiving.

If you truly didnt care you wouldnt respond.... Im not a big Kimbo fan at all.. I just didnt think it was cool to bash another fighter... How about a sig. wager? Gina wins you have to put Kimbo 4 life as your sig. You win I put what you want within reason...

BTW, if Kimbo wasnt being protected, he would have been a flash in the pan just like Sean Gannon was for the UFC.

Sean Gannon... you remember him. the MMA fighter who beat Kimbo in a bareknuckles boxing match ("NO FUCKING KNEES! NO TAKEDOWNS!"), got recognized by the UFC for his internet popularity, then got decimated by Brandon Lee Hinkle.

here is what would more than likely happen to Kimbo if he fought even a reputable LHW.

You have valid points.. but the single most important part you fail recognize is that he brings alot of attention to the sport.. People like him generate the dollars that pay alot of the lower level talent... Shit happens every where.. Tennis, Golf, baseball football.. You act like this is new to sports... Is he the most skilled no? Does that mattet? There are hundreds mor talented actors than Keanu Reeves yet he makes the cash. After all cash is the bottom line!
