Gary Goodridge

This Man is very exciting he either knocks some1 out or gets knockout he has ureal power and is exciting 2 watch and at 1 point was the best armwrestling champion-best in the world but i feel like this man never reached his potential in mma wat do u guys think.

dont see full point to this thread, but the guy is just a brawler. yeh alot of the old schoolers couldve learned to be more well rounded fighters. Gary just relied on his brute strength, which doesnt go too far these days

Gary got started later than most, and relied on his natural physical gifts to make up for what he lacked in technical ability, so I mean it's hard to say what his potential was. Had he got started eariler perhaps he would have came closer to reaching higher potential, but considering how late he got into mma in his life compared to many others he did pretty well for himself.

Gary was always a solid fighter, and posed a challenge to anyone. He even won a K-1 tourny last year I believe at age 40.

He came in not really knowing anything about martial arts or technique, learned a lot on the job. The PRIDE gatekeeper for many years. His career is still doing pretty well, he is a good gatekeeper for K-1 as well and not too many guys can say they KOed Mike Bernardo.
