Another little known fact..

Mel Gibson's original line for the climactic torture scene in Braveheart was, "Don FRYYYYEEEEEEEE!!!!" After much discussion, the writers decided that the film would be portrayed as "too American". The line was later changed to "Freeeeeeeeeeeedom!"

Edit... I love this thread - should be changed to fun factS about Don Frye

I remember when he wore the Fu** terrorist shirts right after 911. I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure it had the f-bomb on it. It's been a while and I'm not completely sure.

I don't understand why Don has that stache. I mean, what purpose does it serve? Does it keep dust from flying into his nose? I don't think sooo. Why doesn't he just shave his entire face except keep a strip of hair on his right cheek. That would make as much sense.

Don Frye has the greatest poker face of all time. He once won the 1983 World Series of Poker despite holding a Joker, a Get out of jail free monopoly card, a 2 of spades, a 7 of hearts and a green #4 card from the game UNO.

Don Frye's moustache was obtained when he and the late Freddie Mercury had a marathon game of tiddly winks, where the winner would have the honor of absorbing Mercury's moustache and all its powers.

After an agonizing four straight days with the eyes of the world watching, Don Frye did the American thing and yelled "Fuck this shit!" and sucker punched Freddie Mercury in his junk, causing him to keel over and pass out. Frye stole the moustache and the rest is history.
