These rumours are rumours, the only one I've heard talking about it is Aleks (and I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt). Personally, I think they didn't clear him because he was running a fever of 98.6 again

In the interview with life.ru Aleks claims that he was simply late. He says there is absolutely nothing wrong with him physically.

He says that according to CSAC he was supposed to be tested on 13th. He only received a visa on 14th and came to US on 15th. He was hoping that they would be able to still work everything out - but apparently the CSAC is very strict on everything.

FUCK.

That's exactly the same situation with the swastika. It's been taken by racist groups and turned into something that it wasn't originally intended to represent. The ancient Nordic symbols today have become synonymous with white supremacy, when in actuality, they're not necessarily related to that at all. The Swastika is an ancient Asian symbol, the only reason it would be an issue here would be the American misunderstanding of what it's original meaning was.
