Maybe i misspoke though. I have 20k in reciepts from the Rabbid Rabbit audio. That includes installs, custom box -- built into and out of the spare tire well which produces absolutely unbelieveable volume and effect (the air feels like water washing over you when i hit the bass), custom inner door enclosures and probably a hundred billable hours of testing time combined -- i can't stand rattling and as you might imagine an 84 has some rattles, even at 60,000 KMs. The current subs alone (Boston GTRs) cost me 2 grand a piece before they came out on the market. I used to run two 15inch Kickers which sonuded fantastic but the bostons take it to another place.

Damn, that's crazy. That's a lot of loot for some beat. What kind of music do you listen to( I could just picture a '84 rabbit pulling up next to me bumping "WHo let the Dogs out? with the sickest system ever), I figured you must have had a lot of custom door panel, anti-rattle, trunk box work done at over $100/hour to rack up a bill like that. I bet it slams tho.

edited my post to add another big cost which was the headliner fixes. when youpump that much bass through the entire body of a small car... you find things to spend money on repairing. haha
i listen to a lot of punk, reggae and hiphop. Nothing tests the boundries of a good car system like Sublime (Ruca bumps enough to knock pictures off the walls in a house if you are parked in an attached garage, no word of a lie. happened when we put the Kickers in on the first build). I have a few favs for putting on a show with the audio though...

You're right, i got a buddy with 442 that he bought from an old bodyguard of Too Short's, the bass hit so hard it shook the rear glass loose.
E & A are one of my favorite groups, I listen to mostly hip-hop(no rap, big difference).
We bringin it back to basics/situated under the basement/the n n nation is guaranteed to hit the pavement/You, u u u slept/ now youre bobbing your head so hard you're left with a permanent injury to the back of your neck.
You sold a lot of records, but I got a question, how many of them ended up back in the used section? All of them, yea abilities beats bang but he aint makin none for you, so stop callin him.

Hell yeah man. That's funny... i've never mentioned E&A to anyone and had them know who i was talin about. I grew up on hiphop, but got into reggae and punk later in life. Still an hiphop head too thoguh and i hear ya... rap is BS, hiphop is where it is at. especially indi hiphop, truth be told. Have you checked out The Many faces of Oliver Hart? Eyedea's disc, minus Abilities.
that's a solid cypher quote there... every time i hear eyedea freestyle i go nuts though. that little clip on now, or act right or whatever song it is on always gets me laughing.
"Your cheap flimsy chump style ain't worth the ground it'll get buried beneath/The beats are buckin' your weak, flowin' your flow is scared of the beats/Princess, the king's here so play the background / How's that sound? You just got clowned now sit your ass down."
some other hiphop you'll hear booming from the rabbit;
Brother Ali, Aesop, J5, Skelleton, Life, Sage Francis (damn nerd rapper, heh heh), Murs, Blueprint, Soul Position, POS, Ant and the whole Rhymesayers fam. Phi Life Cypher, Roots Manuva, Del, Mos Def, Wildflower, DJ Skitz and the rest of the Ninja Tunes crews... if you have E&A i'm probably naming half your collection here. heh heh

Had to post this up for you man, incase you haven't seen it; eyedea vs. Brother Ali at 5th element or something. Ali endès it realy strong but thereès no beating eyedea in freestyle unless the kid is way off his game, in my opinion.
'the only way you'll beat me is if you pretend i'm your dick'
