Fedor vs. Rogers (size)
"The main event is all set with Emelianenko stepping on the scales, blue jeans and belt on, weighing 232 pounds, still more than 30 pounds lighter than his opponent. Rogers, hoping to pull off the upset and realize a dream, tipped the scales at 264 pounds. Not a lot taller than Fedor, Rogers looked quite a bit more muscular."
That's a direct quote from MMAweekly...while sherdog lists Fedor at 6'0 and Rogers at 6'5, to me a sizeable difference, although in the pictures (not taken from the best angle) look to be a lot closer in height. Do you think Fedor was wearing shoes/sneakers or is Rogers really not 6'5 or is Fedor taller than 6'0?
For the record I don't think this will impact the outcome of the fight, I'm just curious.

It's hard to say, I watched the weigh ins on HDNET, and it looked to me Fedor had his shoes on while Rogers did not. I would say Rogers is more like 6'3 tops, but im sure if someone was at the weigh ins and done a comparison to their self, that would be the best bet to find out for sure.

I think Fedor was wearing shoes in their staredown picture. He was also wearing jeans and a belt on the scale, so he was probably under 230lbs.

Yeah the 5 inch difference didn't seem like it in the weigh in pictures, but like you mentioned we didn't get a good angle. I guess we'll have to weight until the staredown in the cage.

Does size really matter anymore with Fedor?
Anyways it mgiht of just been the angle and Fedor might have been wearing shoes when Rogers got off the scale

Rogers is probably 6'4 same as AA, msot pictures going around on net are of bad angles, Rogers definitely is at least 6'3 at most 6'5 Fedor as always is 6'0.
