Yeah, If Couture with his crappy assed takedowns was able to tke Tim down, there is no way Fedor could fail.

1. lol.. yeah... fedor was really near to dead... you watched the fight? he looked good, after this BAD CUT. omg if you really think this cut was bad - you are the biggest pussy on this planet. i fight since im a little boy - and know what a cut is.
2. kohsaka has broken the rules with his elbow, you know the rules of this tournament? i dont think so. = NO CONTEST.
3. yeah that fight was stopped, after the 3 or 4 control of the referee. how many chances had fedor to return in the fight? and what cut looked worse, fedors or kohsaka´s?

1. Oh, I'm sure this is true.
2. Do you? I believe the rules stated that one fighter had to advance, Fedor was unable to continue, Khosaka was able to continue. Therefore Khosaka advances.
3. Its not up to me to decide how bad the cut was. Is it possible the japanese officials wanted to give TK a better shot? Sure, I guess.

1. fedor was able to fight - for sure. it was a little cut - and he sayed that in an interview after the fight, but he was to good-natured to be alarmed about it.
2. yes - i read the rules by each event im watching. it was an illegal elbow = no contest.
Tsuyoshi Kohsaka - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Kohsaka landed an elbow strike (illegal under RINGS rules) to the forehead of Emelianenko, opening a cut that prevented Emelianenko from continuing."
if you would be a sportsman, you would shut up and accept that kohsaka has not won the fight.
but you are a little ufc nuthugger, thats your problem.
3. the first intelligent statement from you - congratulations

Hey man, I loved this break down, but I'm also a zealous Fedor fan. My only problem is how you spelled corean...
Kidding bud, do one of these for Nog and all of his different submissions.

1. It doesn't matter if Fedor, you and all his fans wrote a petition to Rings, it was deemed a bad enough cut by the officials to keep Fedor from continuing. Since Fedor couldn't continue, his oppoent WHO CAUSED THE INJURY FORCING FEDOR OUT continued on as he came out ofthe fight able to continue.
2. You edited that quote a bit, it was called a loss several times on that Wiki page.
3. You be a sportsman and stop whining about it. It wasn't my decision to let TK continue in the tourney. I'm just stating facts here. I really haven't given an opinion either way.
4. At least my second or third.

Fedor is going to take Tim down by smashing his face in with a lethal combination throwing Tim off balance, he will then transition to a body lock and throw in a a blink of an eye slamming Tim to the canvas...This is how Fedor gets you down, and he does it far better than anyone in the sport. His ability to transition from striking, to clinch, to the groud is nothing short of amazing. Shortly after he will secure an armbar. This will all happen in a span (in my estimation) inside 3 mintues in the first round.
This isn't because Tim sucks at all, it's because Fedor is so good, and he will remind everyone of that come July.

Say what you want but Tim style is kryptonite to certain styles(Look at Arlovski). Now I'm not saying Fedor is Arlovski but his reach will nuetrelize alot of Fedor's attacks.

lol, Schilt is a better striker I agree, but he is nowhere near Tim's level when it comes to being a great MMA-fighter.
