Very nice statistics. Good job, and I concur. There's no way Tim will be able to keep Fedor off him for that long.

As I understand this fight will take place in a ring.
Feast Your Eyes on Affliction’s First Fight Card
One thing that hasn't been mentioned much is Fedor's striking. While he's not a KO specialist he can be brutal with his fists, using them to set up his takedowns and soften an opponent up for a sub. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets inside of Tim's range and uses his fists to force Sylvia into making a mistake. What makes Fedor dangerous is that he can exploit every aspect of MMA to his advantage.
Edited to add props for TS. Good work there!

That is his only weakness and it isn't much of one due to his elusiveness. I can't believe I just typed that word.

We don't know if fedor has a freakish chins like penn, page hunt or fujita, because its never really been tested
and that is kinda scary in its self... considering all who he has fought.

I gotta say, I'm worried about him fighting Timmy. I really think this is a bad matchup for him. Fedor as you pointed out is best at the upper body TDs. He is good at countering others' attempts at upper body TD's as well. Tim is not going to have anything to do with that. I think he may be able to keep Fedor away and he can sprawl well. I don't want Fedor standing with Timmy the whole fight. Tim could shoot for the decision and force Fedor to make a rare mistake.
Fedor is Fedor and if he wins in stunning fashion, it will only increase my respect for him.

The upper body takedowns are the main reason im NOT concerned... a certain man over 40 year old with great upper body takedowns recently dominated Tim with them. He can sprawl shots, but he cannot defend trips.

Fedor is a mma athlete and if he doesnt adapt his plan to Timmys "odd" frama and game than he isnt the greatest after all. I love him a lot but thats the way it is.
I think he will pull it out though. His striking is way better than Randys plus he owned a pre-punch drunk Nog (and made him punch-drunk). Timmy has no tools to counter the speed of Emelianenko.

I have to agree, fedor is way quicker than randy, with much more explosive punching power. He has the best upper body takedowns in MMA. Once it hits the ground its a no brainer, his GnP is unmatched, and he can submitt anyone , even if he is on bottom, he would reverse Tim, and submitt him. After fighting much bigger fighters than Timmy, he wont have any problems with Timmy

Tim got taken down repeatedly with inside leg trips from the clinch by Randy, which is right up Fedor's alley. However, Tim might have been working on a defense for that, so you never know.
I'm guessing Fedor gets the take down and gets the armbar transition when Tim tries to get back up.
