Fedor almost had armbar in the 1st...anyone notice?

Fedor virtually had an armbar locked on Rogers in the 1st round...except for the fence which was slightly in the way as Fedor swung one of his feet up next to Rogers head.

Of course, didn't really matter. Rogers was doomed from the start.

yes everyone noticed. I thought it was over. Much respect for Rogers performace. He made it a very exciting fight.

Rogers escaped two sub attempts from Fedor which really surprised me. Rogers put up a heck of a fight for a guy that was "Doomed" from the start.

For someone who was "Doomed" he did do a good job in showing that fedor is human.

Well the armbar actually wasn't very close at all, but he did escape from that brutal GNP with it.

More close was when Fedor grabbed a Kimura, got reversed and held onto it. I didn't see how Rogers broke the lock but it was cinched in

Rogers is so big that he was able to power out of those sub attempts. It wasn't so much a matter of skill as it was strength.

This. Still it was impressive, I was pissed. I had Fedor winning by armbear(not a typo) in the 1st round. So when I saw that attempt, you better believe I was rooting for it lmao.
