One of my teammates just tried out for the IFL, Ken Shammy's team. He spanked the guys at 168, and when he refused to get a shamrock tattoo (He's Polish, why the fuck would he get a shamrock), they told him they would consider keeping him on as a consultant. That's the kind of bullshit you have to deal with as a fighter if you aren't in with the "right" people.
It's not fair, and it sucks, but that's how it is bro.

Your right. Its not fair. Its pure bullshit to me. But you are 100% Dead on right. Politics.

Actually, Gina is probably #1 in her weight class. But when I say that she is #1 in her weight class, you have to realize, it really is HER weight class. It's like there's Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, GinaCaranoweight, Heavyweight, etc... 140lbs. Who else fights at that weight class? Nobody, unless of course they're fighting Gina.

Is she using MMA as a tool for acting? If so how long do we see her in the sport? Already on tv shows such as fight Girls, American glad, and some others. Fact of the matter is she's a fighter wit a pretty face with kick ass skills. theres nothing wrong wit dat. But I doubt we see he in the sport for long. The scape of female mma is in toss up. If shes losses in her next time. and qustion will be NOW WHAt?

You do realize that EXC has a dozen female fighters including Shayna Baszler and Cris Cyborg who all fight at 140? And a few like Debi Purcell and Carina Damm who fight at 130?

Yeah, no shit. That weight class exists because that's the lowest weight Gina can cut to! The normal weight classes are 105, 115, 125, 135, 145, 155.

Maybe not the best? Tara LaRosa would smoke her. It would be like Fedor vs Hong Man Choi.
