EliteXC once again tried to ...

They did all they could to protect Kimbo once again.....They picked a fighter from another weight class to fight him instead of picking somebody that was at least a heavyweight...Arlovski said he wanted the fight..Nelson would have done it as well. Instead they pick Seth....and the lil white dude whooped the Elite hype machine...

Funny thins is..did anybody else see Jared Shaw yelling at the ref telling him not to stop the fight....just seems shady to me.

That being said..I honestly felt Seth would win..He beat Bob Sapp already..and I felt Kimbo would be much of the same. I wish Kimbo wouldve shown Seth some respect before the fight and touched gloves...but he wasnt that bad in defeat...just a little embarrased. I think Kimbo will grow as a fighter....but the hype is over..he will get only critisism now..and a win over a mid 40 year old Shamrock that hasnt won in 7 years wont repair his rep..

I think it was best for everyone that he didn't fight Arlovski or Nelson.
Here's why:
(1) He lost anyway, so he's been really unveiled as a chump
(2) Had he lost to Nelson by sub or Arlovski by KO, we would have all been saying, "well duh, we knew that would happen."
(3) On the OUTSIDE chance he would have either KO'd AA or Nelson, it would have instantly legitimized him. I know that would likely never happen, but all it takes is one lucky haymaker.
(4) The AA vs. Nelson fight was awesome! I'm glad we got to see it

It looks like Shaw was yelling for the referee to stop Seth for striking to the back of the head and give Kimbo a chance to recover. You can clearly see him mouthing "Back of the head" and pointing to the back of his own head.

That would've been even shadier than the JT fight, which is probably why the ref ignored him.

If he had fought RN or AA we would have learnt nothing. We all know AA and RN are miles out off Kimbo league.

Seth beating him in 14 secs tells us alot about Kimbo. A guy who hasnt fought in a year, by is own admission was only training part time and hes a LHW destroyed the hype machine.

Its like Lesnar losing to Mir he was smashing Mir until he got caught and submitted. But we expected Lesnar to lose but unlike Kimbo he actually showed ablity and Frank is a top 20 HW.
