Okay. The ratings came in for last night. They drew a mere 2.62 million in ratings. They know how important Kimbo Slice is with attracting the mainstream audience. And last night proved it.


You cannot blame Elite XC. MMA is a business. UFC does practices which also fruastrate fans at times but things as to be done the way it has to be done for the sake of smart business. You guys can bitch all you want. But bitching won't change anything. Money is the only talker people listen to.

you're kidding with the mere 2.6 right? those numbers were great for EXC, could they have been better? sure, but all things considered 2.6 is an outstanding success in the eyes of CBS.

To put it in perspective, the most watched MMA event EVER in USA was UFC 75 which pulled a 4.7. Obviously much more impressive but that's the highest ever, and UFC is 100x more known then EXC.

if EXC keeps pulling "mere 2.6" ratings they will stay on CBS forever.

Way to get yourself taken seriously. Swear a lot and then make nonsensical accusations. If you had bothered to read my earlier comments you would have seen my response to your statement that has been made far too often by Elite XC apologists. If they want to promote him that is just fine. My problem, and the problem that most people seem to have with them, is that they tout him as a heavyweight contender. They either need to just promote him as an internet sensation turned pro fighter with an interesting life story, or they need to toss him some actual competition to back up their statements.

And by the way, the UFC 75 show was not the highest rating ever. It was the May 31 Elite XC show. But Rampage would had given UFC more ratings if the show would had been held on Primetime Network television.
