They dont want Kimbo to lose in his hometown for his next fight.
They will probably feed him someone for him to knockout in miami.
Trust me the true MMA fans want to see this fight, its a good legit test for kimbo, but elitexc wouldn't know what the fans want anyway.

I agree.. It's just sad when fighters want a fight, fans want a fight, and yet the promoter seems to have something else planned.
I'm sure it's just build up Kimbo, give Brett the tougher opponents, Kimbo main event, Brett undercard, Brett talks shit, Kimbo says fuck, Brett stops his opponents, Kimbo stops his post fight interviews..

Kimbo showed against Thompson that he needs to be protected. Every fighter is protected in their first 5-8 fights and should be so they find themselves in the cage. It's just that Kimbo is also being talked about as the best out there which needs to stop.

Did somebody say they wanted to give Kimbo an EASIER opponent in Dave Herman? Herman is a fuckin' beast and way better and more wellrounded than Rogers will ever be. Herman will annihilate Kimbo if they fight. He'll also wreck anyone else in the HW division, save Bigfoot.

it would be smart to protect their biggest name. Most people that would tune in to see him fight are ignorant newb WWE type fans. If he fought another no name or they bring in Eli who quit TUF, and Kimbo finishes him in 40 seconds, these fans will be buzzing about it and calling all their goofy little friends to talk about how much of a beast Kimbo is. As long as Kimbo keeps winning they will have big viewer numbers, so keep the illusion going.
