I can see your point but I still think Eddie has to take this fight to the floor. Dida is wild but I expected Eddie to be able to sit in the pocket because of how wide Dida's punches are. For the most part that is exactly what he did except for the few that connected. When Dida decides to exchange he pretty much starts from way outside and throws either a wild over hand or a very loopy hook. You can see his first punch coming from a mile away but its his second or third punch that gets most of his opponents. With Hansen its a much different story. He moves very well on his feet and punches while traveling in all directions. Sometimes he faints left and throws a right and vice versa. Also Hansen throws jabs hooks and straits and mixes it up alot more then Dida ever would. Dont know the exact specs of each fighter but im pretty sure Hansen will have the reach advantage. You also have to take into consideration that Hansen has one of the most solid chins in the LW division. Taking the fight to the floor for Eddie would be wise because he can most likely defend the subs and he can control and grind away at Hansen. Of the two I think its safe to say that Eddie will be the physically stronger fighter. Thats just the way I see it.

I think Hansen can take this one for sure... will be a great fight, I haven't been so excited about a fight stylistically for a really long time.

good fight but I would have rather seen a 'rematch' between Hansen and Kawajiri. The Shooto title fight left much to be desired.

Eddie didnt look too good standing in the dida fight,he even got knocked down...
to say that he has a advatage in striking department because he has better hands than hansen is...pretty stupid. watch the standup against dida again
