I think fedor could shrug off a few of tims punches, or atleast keep his head enough to grab on if he gets wobbled. But tim landing a good shot will be much harder as i dont think fedor is going to try and box with tim like nog did.

Fedor has at least a good chin, further Fedor actually trains for getting rocked by doing a rough simulation of the conditions when one gets rocked (he spins himself crazy to get vertigo then fights that way). But his chin doesn't seem as good as Nog's. Hard to tell because it's never been tested that severely. Fujita gave him a big punch and Fujita is a strong dude with good punching power, but it probably wasn't anywher near as bad as the kick Herring gave Nog, or the repeated punishment Tim gave him.

True, i dont think fedor could take the constant punnishment that nog took, but is there a single heavyweight short of mark hunt that could? I dont think fedor would get into that situation anyway, he'll probably throw a few punches, clinch, takedown, gnp for a bit then sub Tim.
But after the randy fight maybe all fedor had to do is land a big overhand right to put tim to the mat for a possible Ko or ground n pound tko.

The best quote I ever saw on here as someones sig was somthing like" Fedor getting rocked is like a cd skipping it only lasts a second" and after fujita and the randlplex I think he can take a little punishment.
