Cherman is a warrior
I just watched Jean Silva vs Danilo Cherman and the guy fought the third round with a friggin' broken arm to win the decision. All my respect for this almost unknown fighter.

They fought a couple of hours ago in Cage Rage, hope somebody post the fight on youtube or something because it was pretty cool.
By the way, I just found out that he was a late replacement so now I respect him even more.

I just watched it, that guy has just earned a new fan. He is tough as nails. His arm looked horrible. Plus he is Shaolin's teamate.

Shit, I just saw that.
Insane. The armbar looked tight as hell, Silva was telling the ref the arm was broken or that he was going to. Cherman stepped over and eventually got out of it and fought the final 4 minutes with his arm broken, got the unanimous decision.
Warrior indeed. Major respect. After the fight, Quadros and the other announcers noticed his arm looked fucked up. Hard to tell on the quality vid I saw, but it looked pretty sick around the elbow. He acknowledged afterwards that it was broken but that he "showed his heart" and fought until the end. Damn.

I just seen the Zelg x Weir bout. Damn!!! That was unreal.
The thought of Jean losing triggered my interest in this Cherman cat. Didn't get to see the fight though?
Anyone hook a brothah up, plz?

yeah definately props to cherman....didn't see him winning this fight,I thought Jean would manage to keep it standing.
Also for a guy who doesn't look too "in-shape" or strong the couple of times he just picked Jean up impressed me.
Look forward to seeing him again.

Can someone do a short re-cap of the match for a fellow sherdogger?

In the first fight of the live internet broadcast, Danilo Cherman showed some real determination, fighting for most of the third round with a broken arm to claim the unanimous decision over Jean Silva. Danilo gave a good account of himself early, slamming and controlling Jean – a jiu-jitsu black belt in his own right. Jean, however, was able to apply an unexpected straight armbar on Danilo, breaking the arm in the process; Danilo, to his infinite credit, refused to tap and fought back with his own arm bar attempt, earning the unanimous decision.

Yep, he's got a new fan here. His fight with Silva was probably my favourite fight of the night, he just kept going and didnt let up for a second, even with a broken arm. Jean Silva didnt look nearly as explosive as he has in the past imo.
