CC vs. Overeem, Fedor vs Monson at Affliction - Dream co-promotion in Japan!!!

Even though he is out of the ring 'cause of surgery and he won't be ready for a fight at least 30 more days, Cro Cop never had more options for fighting in his life.
5 MMA organisations (2 Japanese and 3 American) would like to see Cro Cop fighting for them. Cro Cop, for now, is leaning towards Dream, but he wants to go in the ring as soon as possible so all options are open.

Only thing certain for now is fight in Affliction – Dream co-promotion in Japan on 20th July. Mirko will be fighting Alistar Overeem, a fight that left many questions and now this guys are gonna answer them. Alistar was dominating the fight and then fight was stopped cause of the illegag nut shots by Overeem.

Other interesting fights on that card will be FYODOR EMELIANENKO vs. JEFF MONSON, and JOSH BARNETT vs. ANDREI ARLOVSKI could be interesting fight too.

„I'm looking forward to fighting against Overeem on 20th July, but I wan't to enter the ring as soon as possible. July is far away. In the next few days I will know more about my fights in 2009. I plan at least 4 fights from May 'till Deember, and I plan to fight 5 times in 2010.“ – said Mirko!

The woman reporter says:

"Mirko Filipović has confirmed that he knows for cetain that he's fighting 20th July in Japan for Dream. He is also looking to perform for Dream in May or for one of the american organisations in June because he wan't to get in the ring as soon as possible. No oponnents have been confirmed for now"

So, we have tom attencio telling us on 11th April that he is going in Russia, Japan and Korea to try to work something out for the next affliction show, and then Cro Cop tells Jutarnji List he's gonna be on Dream-Affliction co-promotion card in Japan 20th July.

wow. where are the rumors of the affliction-dream card coming from? why fedor vs. monson? i thought it was back to him fighting barnett. either way if all of this is true, it's gonna be an amazing card. i hope cro cop comes back real hungry. i want to see the old cro cop come back, and KO overeem. i like overeem, but mirko needs it. i hope this whole thing about the affliction-dream co promote is right.

btw, i find the Dream-Affliction partnership for an event strange, considering that earlier this year Dream was hinting at an event with Strikeforce as there partner not Affliction.

I don't know guys. Jutarnji doesn't offer any sources, but they have a statement from cro cop and his negotiating with all the orgs so he knows a few things probably!
