Brock Lesnar is NOT a mixed martial artist

He's a pro-wrestler posing as a mixed martial artist since MMA is what's hot right now.

There are a TON other more qualified fighters out there who should be signed before Lesnar is even given an acknowledgment, much less a contract.

Does anyone else find it hypocritical that Lesnar goes and talks shit about Big Tim, Randy, and every other MMA fighter who has paid their dues and Dana is all over it, wanting to sign Lesnar for his trash talk, etc, but Josh Barnett says not even anything HALF as bad as Lesnar and he's paid his dues, and Dana goes on and bashes Josh for the same thing he praised Lesnar for?

Let this idiot pro-wresler go and pay his dues in smaller orgs and amateur shows and work his way up to the big time. Don't bring him to the UFC just because he'll bring pro-wrestling fans who werent watching MMA in the first place into the sport. These fans are the LAST thing this sport needs while it's fighting so hard to gain mainstream acceptance and has come so far.

So NO to Lesnar and YES to fighters who have actually paid their dues and deserve to be in the big show!

I don't think Lesnar is an idiot for wanting to begin a career in MMA.....

But at the same time, he hasn't paid his dues in terms of facing legitimate competition.....and hasn't proved anything to anyone.

Let the man have a few fights against proven mixed martial artists and then perhaps he should be awarded some consideration.

Yes and no.

It's a pity to see Dana go after Brock while guys like Barnett are out there unsigned.

But the point about Brock being a pro wrestler masquerading as a mixed martial artist makes no sense. Lesnar is a very, very good sports wrestler, and that is what makes him noteworthy in MMA.

Put him in TUF, imo.

At this point, that is where he belongs.

Give us a name of someone you'd like to see? I think Dana is smart to sign a NAME. but We'll see how it goes.
Just like any other sports every casual fan loves to see heavy weights. They need as many as they can(that dont gas out) haha

Putting him on TUF is a good idea. And if he doesn't win it, he should never get a fight in the UFC again.
