Big John Should Have Pulled the Plug

What the hell! He let the Filho v. Doerkson fight go on way to long! That was brutal!

Probably because it was a championship fight and he might know that derkson can take some punishment and gave him a chance to recover. I don't think it was too late.

Agreed - BJM is usually rock solid, but that went on too long. Filho wasn't that impressive though. Very surprised he couldn't take El Dirto down.

Bullshit and I'll tell you why.

1. Filho knocked Doerkson down with a couple good blows (one that was grazing IMO)

2. Once on the ground Doerkson began to struggle to get to his feet. Doerkson was still lucid enough and strong enough to begin standing while getting hit in the back and side of the head.

3. BJM recognized that a fighter able to fight through that situation and actually stand was not out of the fight.

4. By the time he got to his feet he took some more shots and went back down. This is where BJM takes a hard look then stops the fight.

Sorry but it didn't go on too long,

WTF are you going to do, stop the fight when a fighter is getting back to his feet in order to defend himself. Sorry that fight was not stopped too late, it was the correct amount of time.

he was giving joe a chance to come back.joe's a big boy,he can take it.that's not as bad as some of these fighters that know the other guy is out and they see just how many shots they can get in before they are stopped.btw you're a fluffer.

It was not stopped to early, other then the first few punches that hurt Doerkson none after that were anything. They were weak wide and sloppy. I liked him letting it go, I just didnt like him letting the back of the head punches go.
