The BEST competition for Fedor is outside of teh UFC. (TUF guys)

Think about it, If you add in the fact that Strikeforce are willing to co-promote with the likes of M1 and dream, i would say that the non UFC HW division is probably stronger. Fedor, Rogers, Werdum, Arlovski, Overreem, Bigfoot, Barnett, Roger Gracie, Aleks E, Sergei, Monsoon, Lashley, Ishii..etc....Lots of good guys out there who haven't been snapped up by the UFC yet.

I judge a fighter on how he fights not where he fights. For example, guys like me that watch a lot of MMA knew Anderson and Machida were good fighters before they joined the UFC. I admittedly didnt know of Jnr Dos Santos, but look at him too. There is a tonne of talent out there. I think Gegard could beat Machida for example. I'm not saying he definitely would, but he certainly could.

Fedor has proven time and time again he is the greatest yet idiots refuse to acknowledge it because he isn't fighting in the "rock n roll" UFC . He has beat them all from giant brawlers to world champion kickboxers to Olympic level wrestlers to the best BBJ fighter of all time in MMA.

His fans aren't saying that the brand you are loyal to (the UFC) is poor, because it is still the best MMA org in teh world overall. Just that it isn't the be all and end all of MMA.

Seriously, I NEVER miss a UFC and 3 of my top 5 favourite fighters fight there, but some of you make me wish the brand would collapse with your gayness and dissrespect to anyone who isn't fighting under there banner.

UFC treat fighters like employees, others treat them like stars..don get me wrong, i am a big fan of UFC..but I dont get it.. why the wont dont let you do mtv shows, fight national sambo competition for your very own country (not everyone is american/brazilian which pretty much mma is all they have in mind),fight in other organisation in outside the US and have the chance to fight 4-5 times a year..

I dont get it..your choices are very limited and only good if you are american and ready to move to america to be a star in the UFC..

UFC offered to allow him to compete in sambo, and 5 million per fight . and he only fights once a year right now.

What more was he looking for?
