If Josh is cocky enough to keep it standing for too long Pedro has a chance to land the clean KO.

However, Josh is much better today than 7 years ago so he'll most likely take this by sub in late rd 1.

I don't look at this like most rematches. They have gone the oppsite way since the fight. Josh's standup has continued to improve and his ground game is also better, while Rizzo is somewhat passed his prime at this point.

It is a much more dangerous fight than the Yoshida fight for Josh, because Rizzo does have KO power. If Josh comes into the fight in shape and with a good training camp I think he takes it.

The one thing I will say if Counter strikers are a bad style matchup for Josh. He has a hard time getting inside for the takedown ala Rizzo 1 and CC 2 and 3.

When he does start working for TD's, while Rizzo has a great sprawl, he can be taken down from the clinch, and Josh's size and clinch work will result in this fight hitting the mat where it'll be Josh all the way.

agreed. josh doesn't shoot in for takedowns like monson does. josh has been waiting for this rematch forever. he won't make the same mistake of trading too long with rizzo again.

I agree. I think Josh is in that unique category where he has to really step up the competition. In a way, he's placed himself in an elite category so I think that he should be fighting elite competition.

Rizzo has been on the comeback trail but I'd like to have seen him beat a few more biggies before this one...
