First of all I'm curious how many people are pulling for Timmy in his fight with Fedor? There's been a lot of talk about who will win and how they'll do it, but now it's time to cast your vote for who you'd like to see come out on top if you could have it your way.

Second, what do you really see changing for either of the two fighters with a win? Obviously a decisive victory would give fans of The Last Emperor (such as myself) some reassurance of his ongoing supremacy in the heavyweight division where as a check in the win colum for Sylvia could spin into anything from an almost instant rematch to a mad scramble by Dana and the boys to put up some serious dollar signs to bring Sylvia back onto the UFC roster.

I like Tim as a fighter, but don't think he will beat Fedor. Fedor seems to be very classy both in and out of the ring. I have trouble voting against him. I am pulling for Fedor, but have nohing against Tim. I hope Tim puts up a great fight and starts to get the respect I think he deserves as a top 5 HW. I just dont think he is number 1 yet.

Fedor would lose MAJOR credibility as a fighter, especially when Nog and Randy beat him.

If Fedor wins (which he will) this will be what.........the gazillionth UFC champion he has defeated?

He's beaten Goodridge, Coleman x 2, Randleman, and Nog x 2.

All he would need to do is beat Ricco, Couture, and Barnett to have beat all other UFC HW champions I can think of. Oh wait, and Arlovski.

fedor wouldn't lose ANY credibility in my book. the only people screaming he was overrated are the haters and fair weather fans. i think someone once posted something along the lines "even if he never wins another fight in his life, his martial arts career has been one of great success" about bj penn. same thing applies to fedor... sambo champion, last rings champion and undefeated pride champion for many years is more than any other fighter has achieved.

as far as the fight goes, i could see tim winning this. fedor hasn't looked the same since his beating of mirko, i think his cardio is not where it should be. and we know for a fact he bleeds like a stuck pig when he gets anything more than bitchslapped. the longer this fight goes, the better for tim.

it would surprise me quite a bit if fedor came out and mopped the floor with tim. but then again he's had quite a few fights where many predicted he'd finally lose and he always came out on top.

I can see him having troubles due to Tim's size and ring rust .

I hope he pulls it off , so he can settle things with Couture and Barnett next ... A loss would ruin those matchups ...

I want Fedor to win because it opens the door to bigger match's, such as AA or Randy or Barnett for Fedor.

It also gives Fedor more exposure in the US, which can only be a good thing.

Rumor is that this card will never happen. Affliction lost their "teammate" in HDNET who ran for the hills because of the fighter budget (rumor) so Affliction is left holding the bag. I hear that Affliction knows that they are going to lose their ass if they go foreward so the card is dead before it ever really got going. Please don't get me wrong. I really really really really hope it happens. But I wouldn't hold my breathe.
