Anybody find sherdogs logic on kimbo amusing?

at first if i can remember people on the msg boards were saying "LOL kimbo wouldnt last a minute with an mma fighter" and "anyone with training can beat kimbo". now that kimbo proved both of those points wrong people who do hate on him are now using a much safer way of hating on him saying that "id like to see him fight fedor". granted its obvious he would lose to fedor or a lot of other fighters he is up there and fighting much more experienced fighters in his first two pro fights. it really amazes me how most people would rather find a way to weasel their way around logic than just admit that they might have been wrong for once. lol i admitted i was wrong about randy couture after the tim sylvia fight cant ppl do the same for kimbo

No, I don't particularly find it amusing. Bo was 0-4 in his last 4 fights before he fought Kimbo, and Tank was 1-7 in his last 8. How does that prove anything?

Ironically, I find your logic amusing.

At the time, those statements were accurate. Kimbo, the bareknuckle boxing backyard street fighter, wouldn't have lasted a minute with most MMA fighters, any HW with even subpar wrestling and jiu-jitsu training would have beat him. We saw how scared he and his team were of anything other than boxing in the Gannon fight. In terms of MMA, he was completely one-dimensional and had no gas.

Now that he's improved himself and began seriously training MMA, things are different. But if you must do an "I told you so" on Kimbo, why not wait until a better win than Bo Cantrell or Tank Abbott?

Kimbo is just like any other up and coming HW MMA fighter except he is obviously more popular and IMO more talented than any other Up and comers in his weight class.

That being said, he is no where near ready to fight someone like Fedor. I think his first big time opponent should be Arlovski.

A fellow HW with the hand skills to stand and the submission kills to handle himself on the ground.

Either way, if Bas and the mgt team are truly concerned with Kimbo's development they should try to get him a fight against someone who will test Kimbo on the ground.

Test but not destroy...hence the Fedor reference. Arlovski would present such a test..IMO.

Kimbo is trying to go legit and all ppl can do is hate. He isn't claiming to be the best and doesn't even respond to ppl calling him out like Buentello. from everything i've read he is a polite guy to top it off.

I don't have a problem with Kimbo, but I'm going to hold off on ranking him highly until he fights someone ranked in the top....30.

You are severely underestimating Arlovski's skills on the ground and overestimating Kimbos at the same time.

That fight would go as follows:

AA takes Kimbo down within seconds, gets mount, then proceeds to either GN'P him or submit him.
