Are those star tattoos in Aleks mafia tattoos? I watched Eastern Promises and they made those tattoos for Russian mafia "leaders".

As far as I have heard no he was not in the mafia, He was convicted of armed robbery and spent time in a russian prison.

He was in prison for 5 years, so I'm sure he came into contact with the Russian mafia at some point, you know what they say, what happens in prison stays in prison.

Don't know anything other than your photos, and the location is similar, but they are different tattoos with diff number of pts, etc.

Not sure what the tattoo stands for but I know for a fact that if you get a tattoo you didn't deserve in the Russian jail system they will either cut it off or kill you.
