Icon14 AFFLICTION is ufc's biggest competition

affliction mma certainly has to have dana white's attention now, they are by far the only organization that has the best fighters in the world that's not in the ufc, and their first ppv event has a stacked card..............

just look at the fighters that their getting
fedor, tim sylvia, andrei arlovski, matt lindland, jus signed vitor belfort, jus got donald trump to put his name right next to theirs, bet tito ortiz will probably sign with them, he jus has to wait for the couple weeks off his contract that ufc has where they have the right to negotiate a deal w/ him or match any other deal...tito has also states that he will be in attendance for their first ppv....better believe randy couture will sign with them since his extreme couture clothing is partners w/ affliction....

they have done everything right so far, now all they have to do is put on an organized show.....pretty sure they've learned for elitexc-cbs's mistakes... but even then

people love mma and we will watch no matter who puts on the show, as long as the best fighters are there, we will watch.....

dana white and the ufc have done an awesome job and their the major leagues, no doubt,
but look out cause here comes affliction...and best part is no one has no idea who the boss is in affliction or how he looks like...seems like their keeping all the focus on the fighters.....

Affliction has huge potential, imagine if they send some of their HW down to Japan for a Dream HW Tournament, that would be crazzy but i can't believe they won't shoe Rogiereo vs Vernon white on FSN, i wana see that fight.

I hope Affliction can be successful and maybe DREAM will get big because of their connection to HDNet.

well, they certainly have the financial backing and a good list of fighters. I feel their main obstacle is marketing their product effectively and making these fighters interesting to fans. I hate to use crappy Scary Gary Shaw as an example, but if he can hype Kimbo that much then Affliction should copy that strategy. Problem is Fedor isn't a circus act and Timmy is a real fighter that doesn't talk smack.

meh......
