I went to business school and I also read that many successful businesses operate at a loss for up to 5 years when they start out or enter a new market. affliction makes substantial profit on clothes if they try to promote some mma events and make money eventually and get more popular as an MMA org thats better for them. if they don't they took a risk that did not pay off, but i don't think they will go out of business because of that risk. to sum it up you need to crack some eggs to make an omelet.

The only flaw in that is that their success in clothing was based on the free advertising they got from all the UFC and Elite XC events. Now that they're banned from those orgs, they're losing their biggest sources for promotion and advertisement

WAR MMA!!!!

The onset of an open and competitive MMA market has given the fighters and fans what they deserve. I'm so happy that Zuffa is being kicked to the curb, where they belong.

hopefully they have already triggered a snowball affect and will maintain or continue their growth in popularity.

You're unbelievable, Zuffa is set to have an awesome card at UFC 84, they just had their highest attendance ever at UFC 83, and you're saying theyre getting kicked to the curb? Take your rhetoric and hate somewhere else

It should be interesting...I know two of the biggest fighters they had wearing their stuff was Chuck and Rampage, so I wonder if they'll still sport their clothing while not at UFC events...
