i am one of the 28%. that doesnt mean i wont watch it. i mean there are plenty of fights i watch that i could care less if it happened or not, and sometimes they are very good. i am just not a big fan of couture anymore, and fedors inactivity has been kind of annoying. i lost interest in both of them. i am more excited about tim vs fedor, assuming it still happens

is a dream match with respect to both fighters and what they had done for mma. i want to see this fight more than any fight that people anyone can draw up at the moment. is the fight of all fight...and i think who ever host the fight and if they do their promote right ..they will make tons of money and everybody will be happy. the fighter.promoters and the fans.
those 28% will change their mind. cos i don' tthink there's any true mma fans out there that won't tune in to this fight..if the price is right.

Yes, but I do. If the vast majority of the market doesn't care about someone you would probably claim is the number one ranked heavyweight, if not number one pound for pound, then that presents serious problems for the sport. Great, he beats Tim and Randy, and 80% of the fans don't know who he is. Not good for the sport.
As for the first statement, the best heavyweights want to fight them? I've only heard Randy and Fedor ask to fight each other. There were rumors about Barnett, but nothing was ever set.
I've heard Nog ask to fight Randy, but in many ways that's to legitimize his title and solidify his heavyweight championship.

Hardly worth talking about any more. Would I like to see Randy get armbarred like Coleman? Yeah, but I can live without it.
Hmm... I wish Randy was back with the UFC just to see him slug it out with Randy...

Yeah, it looks as ridiculous when I type it as when I think of people believing it.

No, your not understanding it is ridiculous.

How many times did you have to stop typing and go jack off to Fedor's and Randy's pictures while you were making this post? Get over it already before you pull it out by the roots.

(I just love the thought of Fedor vs Randy fighting and ALL THOSE PEOPLE sitting at home watching Friends reruns because they're "not interested" in the fight. Seriously guys.)

I'm looking forward to the Sylvia fight, but the Couture fight is just a pipe dream now.

I still think the UFC is as much to blame, why not have signed a one fight deal with Fedor.
They where happy to do it to Royce.

cause they're liars. I guarantee when that fight happens that every one of those people will make sure that they watch that fight. Has it lost some of it's glamour? yeah, a little bit, but only because neither has had a fight recently. After fedor fights sylvia, the buzz will surround that fight just as much as it did when couture beat gonzaga and no one will miss couture/fedor. It's like saying is anyone still interested in saku/rickson, a lot of people would say no, because they're not really answering the question, they're more likely answering "do you think the fight will ever happen." if those two fought, 8 years ago or 8 years from now, everyone would watch. to say the fight lost all interest is a joke.

So 80% of fans don't know who Fedor is.
So who left in the ufc HW would pose a threat to Fedor?
