Quite the argument. I'm sorry if some people:

A) Are tired of Randy's hissy fit with the UFC.

B) Are fed up with Fedor's lack of opposition.

C) Don't think the heavyweight division is the marquee division in MMA.

D) Are fed up of this virtual fantasy match up being shoved down our throats every five minutes because promoters are noticing that interest is not staying as high as it was a year ago.

Feel free to call it a temper tantrum, it just makes me assume you can't bear the idea of Fedor not being the number one talked about superstar on the planet.

I'm interested to see the fight but I don't think it would be very competitive.

You have to vote to see the results. so even if you don't have an opinion, people will vote, just to see the results.

If you're voting just for the hell of it, then you might as well pick the funny/stupid answer so......

These polls have (pretty much) been proven to be in-accurate in the past. There are too many people voting to piss others off, or to see results, or because they don't understand the question etc. etc.

Couture is a great fighter...but he only gets older each passing day..and lets face it no one expected him to beat Sylvia.

The more time that passes it seems more likely that Randy might never fight again..but even more importantly ...the more time that passes...The more the outcome seems null...If Fedor wins, like many expect, no questions would be answered..kinda robbing Fedor of a recognition.

A) And that has to do with a Randy vs Fedor fight how?

B) So you're not interested in Randy vs Fedor because you are fed up with Fedors lack of opposition??? That makes no sense whatsoever. You're saying that you don't want to see the solution, because it was a problem?

C) That's legit, but is hardly a good reason to not want to watch two top HW's go at it. So what, do you leave the room when HW's fight. Are you gonna watch Vera vs Werdum......

D) You're so fed-up of these rumoured virutal match-ups that you're not interested in them? You're not interested in any rumoured fights? I find that impossible to believe.

Why do you hate Fedor so much?

sure i'd like to see the fight but as i don't see how it can possibly be competitive the only reason is to watch a fedor exhibition basically.

tim sylvia presents a much sterner test for fedor with his size and striking ability so while i still think fedor will win i am happier to see this fight than fedor/couture.

plus, the whole couture/fedor/ufc situation really rankled me and that sylvia has jumped right into where couture wants to be with an absolute minimum of bs, amuses me

But Fedor is gonna fight Tim first, so if he beats Tim and Randy then the haters don't really have a leg to stand on. (Unless Vera or Werdum beat Nog in the UFC, which is unlikely)

Stylistically Randy proposes a much bigger threat to Fedor then Tim does. After Fedor beats Tim, then Randy will be the next-in-line. The fight would still be valid.

A) The problems with the UFC have caused Randy to not be able to compete. That's a DIRECT effect on a budding match. With Fedor now once again a free agent, the match could well have happened...Apart from the legal issues between Zuffa and Randy.

B) Fedor's lack of opposition has meant that for all we actually know, his prime is going to waste. Whilst he fights non ranked fighters, he ages, and more importantly, Randy ages. No fighter has a prime forever, and you do not improve your skills by fighting people a level or two below you. For every Choi or Lindland fight, Fedor is missing out on pushing himself, and is also wasting time in his career. For all I know he has not yet peaked, or he was peaking around the third Nogueira fight. Hell the last name opponent he fought had him in two bad situations.

C) As a Werdum fan, I probably would.

D) Get over-saturated with something enough, and you lose interest. Get let-down/disappointed by something enough, and you stop caring enough to be let down again.

I don't hate Fedor, I don;t hate Randy. I'm just bored of this whole situation. There's a difference between building speculation and interest, and then trying to keep your claws in it as it slowly slips away.
