Hi all,
I come from Holland and train BJJ for about 8 years now and started viewing MMA when it just started even before UFC1. So no newbie here. One question for you all.
When I see Diego training here in Holland with Fedor and all other people and see him put in all is best effort in it. Why the hate for this guy. Sure he acts a bit strange sometime but why the dislike. He won 15 in a row without loosing and still you are all bitching about it. But when Nickk Diaz looses 10 times in a row he is still a great fighter. If he won from 15 cans like some of you say ...well at least he won them and if your fair you see he is no stupid fighter. With all that is happening in MMA why all the boo-ing for a fighter when he has won.
I went to japan to Pride often and that never happens. Every fighter got respect from the audience. When I went to the UFC a bunch of hillbillies screamed to an Azian fighter to go back to his own country. What's up with you people???? I hope Diego will put up a good fight againt Kyro. If he wins good for him if he looses he is still the same fighter, but he just lost a fight. No big deal. When Vitor won from Silva it was a great match but it was a match on it's on. Some of you stupid morrons think that a second match between them would be accactly the same. If that was true I could watch the fight on tape again. Every match is a different one...... still I'm moving away from my point. Still don't know the Diego hate. You don't like him...? fine, you cannot like anybody. But to take an objective view as a fighter Diego is very talented and I hope will be there for a while. You don't have to be a fan but give the guy some respect. Same goes for other fighters. They bring us the entertainment en train very hard. At least you can do is show some respect instead of trashtalking a guy who probably beat the shit out of you. All you keyboard warriors I think you guys call it ;-) are just talking shit about a guy who try to make a good show. And I hope the real fans know what I mean. The fight with Joeyou all trash Diego but it was Joe who did not come in there to fight. Well I'm off training ......

but to answer the post most people dont like diego because he sucks balls but thinks he could walk all over matt hughes and whoever else "the champ" feels like, what exactly is he the champ of again

and also he doesnt train with fedor, fedor teaches him, what could diego possibly teach fedor?

Diego Sanchez came off a show.

Forget his talent. Forget everything good about him.

He came off a show that helped get exposure for UFC, and MMA in general.

But that must be wrong, because some of the 'REAL LAWLZ' MMA fans think that is wrong.

It's like trying to get your grandfather to buy a new car. Same theory.

He's a good fighter, young enough to improve and has a lot of tools. He definitely could contend for a title someday. I'm going to enjoy his fight against Karo, see where he's at.

I dont hate diego but he will never compete with matt, gsp or any other top 10 welterweight. His stand up is garbage and his ground game is not much better. I still think his fight with Diaz should have gone to a fourth round.
