Amir really hasnt shown any weaknesses except takedown defense but his guard is more than adequate to make up for this! WAR AMIR!!!

It's too early in his career to say he'll be ablt to beat contenders next week. So, I think he'll slowly move up the ranks, improve his skill, and be a contender in a couple of years.

Who do you see him beating? I like the guy, and I'm glad he won, and I want him to do well in the UFC, but so many UFC fighters have much more experience and are fully tested by great fighters before they ever get through UFC doors. They get in with 6 to 12 MMA wins not 0.

I think Amir will do just fine all the way up to the elite of 185. He has tons of heart, slick subs and he stays eerily calm when getting his ass kicked. Put him at Xtreme Couture, get his conditioning up to par with the best 185ers, work on getting him more well-rounded and you have a winning fighter. He won't be ready for Anderson, Okami, Hendo or Franklin anytime soon, but I could see him beating someone like Chris Leben after a year or so of training, I like Leben but I just see him getting subbed against Amir.

But the point is irrelevant considering he's dropping to WW...so let the debate on him being smashed in WW begin...(sarcasim)

Well, he beat Matt Brown on the show. Matt Brown beat Matt Arroyo at the TUF 7 Finale. So there are two guys he can beat in the 170 pound division.
