Well for "the comeback" (what was that, season 4??) they had some better known people. Season 2 also had a couple of more established fighters (jardine, rashad). But isn't the point of the show to help up and comers? The better guys don't need or want that kind of experience, they have their own teams and training camps (and sources of income).
