Icon2 TUF Season 1 Competitors... 31-12 since TUF 1 Finale

Here's a quick recap of how the Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale unfolded:

Undercard:
Alex Karalexis def. Josh Rafferty via 1st round TKO
Mike Swick def. Alex Schoenauer via 1st round KO
Nathan Quarry def. Lodune Sincaid via 1st round TKO
Josh Koscheck def. Chris Sanford via 1st round KO
Chris Leben def. Jason Thacker via 1st round TKO
Sam Hoger def. Bobby Southworth via 3 round Decision

TUF Championship matches:
Diego Sanchez def. Kenny Florian via 1st round TKO
Forrest Griffin def. Stephan Bonnar via 3 round Decision

Since the first Ultimate Fighter Finale show, here's how this group of 16 fighters has performed in MMA:

Jason Thacker
(0-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
Thacker surprised me when he agreed to participate at the Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale… he didn't fare to well against Chris Leben when he lasted just 1:35 into the first round. It's unlikely we'll see him back in MMA events.

Alex Karalexis
(0-2 since TUF 1 Finale)
Karalexis dropped his only two fights since the Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale… the first to TUF 1 runner up Kenny Florian and the second to TUF 2 combatant Jason von Flue.

Bobby Southworth
(0-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
Southworth's only fight since the Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale was a no contest with UFC vet James Irvin in June 2006. Both fighters fell out of the cage just 17 seconds into the match.

Chris Sanford
(1-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
Sanford scored a first round submission win over Josh Green at WEC 16 in August 2005.

Josh Rafferty
(1-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
In August 2005, Rafferty won his fight against Aristides Britto via armbar early in the first round.

Alex Schoenauer
(4-4 since TUF 1 Finale)
He's submitted Shannon Ritch (but then again, who hasn't?), and scored a TKO win over TUF 2 competitor Kenny Stevens. His big win came over Travis Wiuff in the new IFL organization back in April 2006. He submitted Wiuff in the second round with a heel hook. Schoenauer has been fairly inconsistent though as he has dropped some fights to lesser competition.

Sam Hoger
(1-2 since TUF 1 Finale)
Hoger lost a decision to Stephan Bonnar, defeated Jeff Newton by submission (UFC 56) and lost a split decision to TUF 2 Champ Rashad Evans.

Nathan Quarry
(2-1 since TUF 1 Finale)
Quarry scored a couple of first round TKO wins against UFC vets Shonie Carter and Pete Sell, but was quickly derailed against Middleweight Champ Rich Franklin (UFC 56). Franklin put Quarry to sleep just half way through the first round.

Lodune Sincaid
(3-1 since TUF 1 Finale)
He's on a 3 fight win streak including a submission win over fellow TUF 1 contestant Alex Schoenauer, and a unanimous decision win over UFC vet James Irvin. He's just joined the newly revamped WFA organization and is set to face dangerous Jason Miller in July 2006.

Josh Koscheck
(2-1 since TUF 1 Finale)
Koscheck was impressive in his first round submission win over Pete Spratt, but then dropped a heartbreaking loss to Drew Fickett. Koscheck had been dominating the fight for two and a half rounds only to be choked unconscious in the closing seconds of the final round. He bounced back in April 2006 with a strong performance against Ansar Chalangov when he submitted him in the first round.

Kenny Florian
(2-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
"Ken-Flo" fought a competitive battle against fellow TUF contestant Alex Karalexis in August 2005 and won via TKO due to a cut in the second round. In November 2005, he followed up his performance with a submission win over Kit Cope. His next opponent will be Sam Stout.

Stephan Bonnar
(3-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
Bonnar defeated fellow TUF 1 competitor Sam Hoger, submitted James Irvin and scored a very close decision victory over TUF 2 fighter Keith Jardine in April 2006.

Forrest Griffin
(2-1 since TUF 1 Finale)
After dispatching of Bill Mahood and Elvis Sinosic both in the first round, Griffin got his shot at Octagon legend Tito Ortiz (UFC 59). Griffin survived a tough first round to give a competitive fight for three rounds. Ortiz won by split decision.

Mike Swick
(3-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
Wow is all I have to say about this guy's performances in the Octagon. He been impressive and entertaining in his UFC wins over Gidean Ray (22 second TKO), Steve Vigneault (guillotine choke) and Joe Riggs (guillotine choke).

Diego Sanchez
(3-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
Sanchez handled Brian Gassaway as expected with a dominating second round victory at UFC 54. He then defeated Nick Diaz by unanimous decision in November 2005, and at UFC 60, fought an extremely close fight against John Alessio. Sanchez was awarded a unanimous decision.

Chris Leben
(4-0 since TUF 1 Finale)
Leben just keeps on winning… He defeated Patrick Cote, Edwin Dewees (by submission) and Jorge Rivera (by TKO)… all fighters I thought would beat Leben. In his last bout, Leben scored a decision victory over the undefeated Luigi Fioravanti. He's on a hot-streak right now, and we'll see if he can continue it against the very dangerous Anderson Silva.

Some of these guys are currently fighting in the UFC, so it seemed to apply. Unless I'm wrong, the thread title doesn't have to have to contain the words 'UFC' or 'Pride' to apply to this forum.

Who cares? He's talking more about the fighters, not the show.

I see a douche bag, do you?

Interesting I quess.....

There have been a few diamonds in the rough from the first two seasons. I agree that the quality has degraded each season.

I think season three will offer 3 good fighters. Kendall, Kalib, and Mike Bisping.

I don't see the rest of them doing much. We haven't seen as many TUF season 2 casts fighing in the UFC as season 1, and I think season 3 will have even less survivors.

Season 4 should be interesting though

those records are a little misleading though. when you take into account that they mostly all fought each other.

you know, it is still pretty empressive though
