The purpose of this post is to give my opinion of TUF as a TUF n00b.

I've been a MMA fan for quite a few years now, and finally thanks to getting ADSL at home I have been able to watch TUF for the first time in my life.

I've watched 3 episodes, and as a MMA fan I have to say that so far it sucks and it's boring. Right from the cliched heavy ****l (which rocks no doubt but enough of the seizure inducing editing with hard rock/****l in the background) to Shonnie Carter, I struggle to get through the 40 mins. Fights haven't been too bad I suppose, but nothing has really gotten my heart rate up.

Not sure what can be done about it, just noticed the ratings were dropping and thought that as someone who has never seen TUF, this season so far is not the sort of thing I would show to encourage my friends into MMA as a sport.

Timeslot sucks for one thing. Spike is already tryin to use TUF as an anchor to draw more ad money. It's on later now. Sucks, now i miss the only totally free MMA i had access to(i have no cable lol!)

Tuf is on the same time it was last season! Also it used to be on even later then it is now. Monday's at 11:07 is worse than Thursday's at 10:00

That said it's still early in the season, I will not write it off yet. WAR mainstream MMA!

One thing, they seem to have taken the approach that eveyrbody who watches knows who GSP and Randy are, there has been FA introductions for either of them, was this the same in the other seasons? I was really looking forward to a lazy man's guide to GSP.
