Those programs make tons of money because the people selling the items are beliveable. Nobody believes that a woman who slinks up and down a chair in the middle of an industrial warehouse, while covered in sweat, is drinking Xience. those ads are for xyience, not the ufc, so dana probably has nothing to do with the content of the ads... that being said, i also much prefer the fighter ads to the sexy women ads and would love to see "real women" in those ads. still, i bet guys in general would prefer to see sexy women in the ads, and bizz is right, the ufc's main target market is male. hmm... just wondering now how much of ufc's viewership is female...

The Tuf Shows Are A Possitive Thing For Mma As A Whole. Not Only Does It Showcase New Fighters But Will Eventually Lead To A Larger And More Profitable Fan Base As We Are Already Witnessing. Even Wanderli Silva Thinks In The Next Two To Three Years The Ppv And Intrest In Mma Will Peak In The West And Come To Replace Japan As A Core Market. When This Occurs Which It Will It Must Surely Lead To A Better Calibre Of Fighters Right Through The Whole Spectrum Of Weight Classes.the Hardcore Fans Myself Included Wont Dissapear We Will Still Watch And Criticise But Eventually This Can Only Benefit Us All.

It is a hinderance.

TUF is a vehicle to create "characters" for upcoming UFC ppv events. This is a WWE style method of developing the talent pool. It is entertainment, not a sport. TUF does contain some very good fighters but for the most part showcases less talented fighters that have no real hope of contesting the elite of the game.

The UFC's continued ban of the media and all organizations involved in MMA is bad for the true sport that lingers in the shadows of the UFC.

The good news is that fans are seeing through the sham of TUF for what it really is as season four numbers start to drop off.

Quality fighters are all that matter. TUF fighters or not.
