Did anyone else notice how much this season of TUF resembles the Contender? I know this season is different but the first episode was exactly like the the first episode of the contender. They both even had a goofy underdog come out and pull an upset. What's going on here? I think UFC could have done more to make it more orginal.
in no way was it like the contender. fights are better, not rocky stykle and its not a family show with alot of slow motion and sad music its about the fighters. shonie has been a 5 time champ in many org rich has done what. i dont know how much of an underdgo he was.

the similarities I am refering to are the new rules ... there are no coaches jus trainers, and the teams are making the picks for the fights, and the teams are running their own training
The Contender is horrible. They edit everything to make it look exciting. The fake fan reactions is the wrst. Suger Ray Leonard might have been a great fighter but he is boring as hell. TUF is nothing like that piece of crap. There has been only one episode so I have no idea why you dislike so bad to say it resembles the Contender.

Perhaps I need to clearify a little: all of the rules that were changed made it like the Contender so the whole story between the fight was same. The training and now the way they pick the fights are the same way it has been on the Contender. If you saw the first episode of the last season of the Contender you would know what I'm talking about.
