TUF 3- Mike Stine

I just ordered TUF 3 on Netflix just to watch them again and refresh my memory. I was shocked that Mike Stine, the infamous boxer who got owned for 3 minutes against Kalib, and then quit fighting MMA, was PICKED BEFORE ED HERMAN. I know that there are a lot of Ed Herman haters, but this guy is a good fighter, and lasted awhile in the UFC. Mike Stine is not a good fighter at all, and it really shocked me that Tito picked him instead of Herman. I was just starting this thread to see if anyone remembered that.

We see how well that pick worked out for him.

Ed Herman is for real.

Yeah, don't you remember, it was a storyline throughout the season.

Herman was pissed off and disgusted that someone like Stine got picked before him, he said Tito must not know who he is. And it turned out Tito didn't know who he was and after making his picks, he went and looked up Herman's record and realized he screwed up. Then he played headgames with him when it came to picking fights, acting as if he was going to pick him to fight one of his guys, but not doing so until he had to.

If you look back at alot of picks on former TUF seasons, alot are pretty surprising.

Also, go back and watch the team selections again and look at Tito's reaction after Ken reveals his first pick - Kristian...

Wasn't Jesse Forbes Shamrock's first pick?

Also, Stine.. LOL.. Granted, I respect anyone who has the backbone to participate in this sport, however his "sub" was a huge puss out. Groaning out loud while Kalib teed off on him.. Quite sad.
