Thoughts on the Jesse Taylor situation

Should Jesse Taylor have been kicked out the UFC?
No one knows for certain what it was he did, but he was making the UFC organization look bad, which is not a good idea if you don't have a contract yet. With that being said, I don't think its fair to kick him out over one incident. I mean look at Mike Tyson, he has done way worse stuff than just kicking out a window, and he harasses women all the time. Now I am not condoning misconduct and I think fighters like Mike Tyson are a disgrace to the sport of Boxing, but Jesse Taylor is defiantly not a Mike Tyson, he's a nice guy who's just a little slow in the head. I mean the guy said that winning would be "Icing on the Ice cream", and he pees his pants!

In my opinion Jesse Taylor should be able to fight in the finals under one condition, if he ever does anything like what he did again he will be banned from the UFC and his contract will be voided. He would also have to pay for the damages of the limo and apologize to the people he harassed. He should also be supervised when drinking because he tends to get out of control. Last he must agree that he will stop peeing his pants, because that's just gross.

The problem is that mma gets a bad rap in the mainstream media as it is right now and having ufc fighters running aorund doing things like Jesse did only exacerbates the bad image. Love him or hate him, Dana needs a strict policy to improve the public image of mma, which means having mature, responsible atheletes represent the organization, not drunk guys running around damaging property claiming to be a ufc fighter. I support Dana's decision, as bad as I feel for Jesse making such poor, drunken decisions. It is a bit of a shame though.

Sorry to have to lay the heavy down on you. But you definitely need to wake up and see that it isn't just one incident it is a multitude of incidents.
1. Pissed on himself
2. Talk shit behind May's back but sucked his dick to his face.
3. Broke limo window out
4. Went inside the hotel and yelled, "Do you know who I am, I am a UFC fighter?
5. Harassed women inside the motel, biggie don't do

If he has likely to terrorize women when he is drunk, then he is very likely to rape women when he is drunk
The guy is obviously a bomb that was just getting ready to explode

I know people like Jesse, they are good guys but once they start drinking they can't stop. I think it's only fair that he is given a second short if he
1. Apologizes to anyone he harassed
2. Apologizes to the night club that he was kicked out of
3. Apologizes to Dana and the UFC for his misconduct
4. Agrees to not drink at all, and attend AA meetings (which he said he has been doing sience the end of the show).
5. Do some type of PSA about alcohol.
6. Stop peeing his pants, and other strange and crazy things.

I mean you have to give the guy a break, he has a son who probable looks up to him. Give him a chance to redeem himself.

Dana didn't want him, because he's not a well spoken guy and got a thug type personality. I thought he should of been in the finals,.

I think Jesse made a HUGE mistake and got what he deserved.

dana had no choice.. He pulled his shit inside the Fertita's own hotel! How could he NOT be kicked out? Lets not forget, the guy has BIG alcohol problems. Remember the house trashing at his hands? AGain, under the influence. Dana did him a huge favor.> IF he doesnt get control of his incipient alcoholism now, the behavior is just going to escalate.

I would like to see Amir say "When Jesse gets his act together i would love to fight him" Just for the fact he did win a spot but out of his own errors in judgment was booted.

Well everything that happened in the house, I think Jesse should get a fair pass. As CB said in a radio interview, you want steak, it takes a couple days to get, you booze, someone runs out and gets it to you immediately.

I think he just can't hold his liquor, and should be partying in another town (home town?) afterwards with friends and the like.
