I thnk Schoonover beats Big Baby, but I think he was the best match-up for Marcus given the huge size difference. Schoon is a 205er who put on fat in order to get to 230 or whatever he's at. Marcus is a specimen at 260, and will have 6"-7" height advantage and an equally huge reach. He probably has 50lbs of muscle on Schoon as well, so a huge power advantage.
Mitrione and McSweeney would have made some sense - both are more dangerous strikers, but have less of a ground game than Schoon. Could Marcus get either down before being tagged?
Schaub, Country, Wren, Madsen were not better match-ups.
I think Schoon will get inside and tag Marcus and then jump on him and pound him out for the ref stoppage.
Schaub over Madsen
Country over Wren
McSweeney over Mitrione
Schoonover over Marcus
Big Country over McSweeney
Schaub over Schoonover

I think "Rampage" made a terrible choice with his pick for Marcus' fight. Pick the undefeated finisher with straight down the pipe KO power and awesome chin and sub defense against your lumbering fighter who got KOed by a scrub in 30 seconds.
That is almost as great a move as throwing away your first pick by selecting the fighter with no ground game who got knocked out by a jab from a TUF alum who wasn't even a contender on HIS season.
Or squandering your fight picks on fights Rashad couldn't have set up better himself...
Or quitting the UFC to make a b-movie after you have a whole season shot around you and an upcoming "grudge" match in your hometown...

Spot on... except Mcsweeny will probably advance... unfortunately

Crap on Rampage all you want for taking the movie roll and speculate on how horrible the movie could be all you want but don't call it a B-Movie. He isn't shooting "Never Surrender."

No one can fill Mr T's shoes so the movie is going to fail just for that. But you bring up another good reason it will tank: A-list actors and budget for a B-grade movie.

Do we know what exactly he weighed in at for the first fight on TUF? I believe his last fight before that, where he beat Rex Richards with a TKO at heavyweight, he weighed in at 218. I could be wrong about that however.

It'd really make sense, given what they've built over the weeks in the show's production for Kimbo to come back and win his fight and then suddenly it'll have gone from 7-1 Team Rashad to 3-2 Team Rashad with a chance for Rampage to be all square going into the semis if Big Marcus wins.

You'v got the two dominating wrestlers, the veteran, and then the athlete. They matched up the four best fighters against each other.

You're forgetting Schoonover. He's the most credentialed guy on the cast besides Nelson. They're angling for a Nelson/Schoonover final, since those are the two guys most likely to have a reasonable UFC career. Most everything else is irrelevant by now.

Yeah they weighed out on TUF before his fight with Zac Jensen. Thats all im going off of, for all i know, you could be right. He just seems like a pretty big dude, hes ex military so im sure he was thinner at some point.

You can't judge a movie that hasn't even been filmed yet. You just can't. Besides that most movies are horrible but don't get a B-grade status.
