I'm not ripping you, but how did "freakishly athletic" work out for Melvin last night? Freakish athleticism can always be neutralized by great technique. The ghetto DMX "get at me dawg", shit talking posse crap doesnt fly in MMA and never will.

I actually thought the exact opposite. I belive Penn has the stronger team. They have all the UFC experience in Wiman, Ruediger, and Lauzon. Don't forget Gray is a stud as well.

BJ said it himself; he wants to pick the guys who he thinks needs his training the most and I have to agree that's the reason why he ended up with the lesser talented team. Pulver's team will win by default.
Penn will win the fight with pulver, though, submission round 1.

I really like the way Jens team ended up looking. BJ's little attempt to embarrass Jens backfired and he ended up with a team full of hacks.
Little Diaz is my favorite off the bat, and I saw nobody in Penns team that will be able to beat him or Cory Hill. Like his big mouth or not, Hill is BIG for a 155'er and he can strike. Plus I agree, he seems like one of those crazy types that will go berserk when he gets his shot, combine the craziness with his god given ability and he could be the all out favorite to win it. He probably has a 2-3" reach advantage on just about everyone on the show. He could get submitted possibly, but who will get him down in order to do it? And from the way he talked his ground game may not be that bad either.
I am sick of all the BJ nuthuggers already, Penn is good but he isnt Jesus like some of these people portray him. Jens is a hell of a fighter and remember he already beat Penn once, so I wouldnt exactly count him out. Plus he seems like a much cooler guy and more willing to coach his guys, where as Penn was saying "I dont like training people, I would rather train myself". Sounds like Ken all over again just taking the coaches job in order to get his shot at a hated rival.

I think Penn probably has more skills and possibly a better coaching staff than Jens, but his team seems a bit lacking other than Lauzon.
