I think the other advantage of having very young guys like Riddle, Amir, and Yarbrough, is that if they fight their way into the UFC 2-3 years from now there will be instant name recognition and fans.

I think Tim Credeur could become a major threat in the 185 division... CB still I feel is gonna win the entire thing

CB, Tim and Riddle look like the only ones who could make an impact. Although with a little more training I wouldn't be surprised to see Amir rack up a few wins.

I'm enjoying this season.

It doesn't look like there's a TON of talent, but there have been a couple of really good fights, and they'll only get better as they cut the chaff.

BTW...brown's biggest mistake in the may fight was going to the ground. his stand up was fine. he went to the ground with a BJJ fighter.

mere weeks away and that brown fight you are referring too was how long ago? you don't know where he's training now or who with or who he's fighting.

Here's the rumored card before you throw the TUF fighters in with the guys you mentioned.

Evan Tanner vs. Kendall Grove
-Diego Sanchez (#8 Welterweight in the World)* vs. Luigi Fioravanti
-Spencer Fisher vs. Jeremy Stephens
-Ultimate Fighter Middleweight Tournament Finals

Preliminary Bouts:
-Josh Burkman vs. Dustin Hazelett
-Marvin Eastman vs. Drew McFedries
-Dean Lister vs. Jeremy Horn
-Rob Yundt vs. TBA
-Matt Arroyo vs. TBA

you're wrong for assuming mr. mere weeks away.

Sooo...your saying that the 185 pound guys from tuf 1 wouldnt get there asses handed to them by silva???(Lebn already did) I guess you think Nate Quarry would do well, or fuckin diego, kenflo and koscheck??? Thats a terrible comparison. If you said you thought the talent level wasnt up to par with past seasons, id agree with you. NOBODY has been a contender right off the bat coming str8 from TUF.(except serra, but season 4 doesnt count) Its all about finding top prospects and building them up, and there arent many top prospets in the sport anymore(the best guys are already getting paid well in other orgaizations) With tht said, this saeson's been great IMO if you just appreciate good fights, and maybe not the caliber of fighter so much. How many clean ko's have we had this season??? 4 or 5?? Never happened in tuf history.

dude u are talking about raw amateurs facing veterans. Silva?!? No shit sherlock of course these guys will get their asses kicked! This show is a stepping stone to the BEGINNING of their MMA career. Most of them dont have much exp. to begin with. I think amir sadollah said he didnt even have any true fights before this show. apples to oranges bro.

Well one of the good things about the show format is that they're only actually bound to giving out one contract. So if the talent pool is as empty as it seems they don't have to give out the traditional 8-10 contracts they've been giving out every season.

They are focusing more on training and the fights, as opposed to showing 75% house drama. That was the biggest complaint from previous seasons and they improved on it. Plus they had the guys fight to get on the show, which was a great idea.

As for the fighters this season isn't that much different. The first one they had a higher talent pool but the ones following mostly consisted of a handful of experienced fighters with new comers. Some people expect to much of TUF, I still think it's far better than any other reality show.
