Possible Future Coaches

Let's discuss possible future coaches. We can realistically break it down into three groups.

1. Those fighters with actual coaching experience that would be able to provide a true camp for the limited time of the show season.

2. Those fighters that while skilled have no real practical coaching experience and would be there more for the name while relying on assistance coaches to really provide skill training.

3. Those fighter, that might fall into either of the two previous catagories but have a barrier in the form of language.

You know what would be interesting? BJ and Sherk. I enjoyed watching BJ in season 5, and we all know how hard Sherk trains. It would be interesting, although perhaps not dissimilar to season 5.

Another possibility could be Nogueira and Sylvia. That would be interesting, just to see if Tim has learnt anything from Pat in regards to coaching.

Damn, BJ and Sherk. Can you say ratings?

The only one that makes sense from a 'coaches title fight' perspective right now is Rampage and Forrest. But whilst it would be great for ratings and probably very entertaining, I don't think either of them are especially the coaching type, and it would mean a long layoff of title fights in what is currently the deepest division. Not to mention the fact that a LHW title fight right now would be too 'big' for an Ultimate Finale.

The UFC has already announced that the next season will be either Middleweights or LightHeavyweights. How pointless would it be to do 205 when that is arguably the most loaded weight class while 185 is the weakest.

Anderson Silva should coach next season. He can have a translator and his rival coach could be Matt Lindland, who UFC should bring back.

BJ already stated that he never wants to coach on the show again so I highly doubt he will come on..

they really need to do one in HW..
not like LHW who put on weight to be a HW, but actual legit HWs

I'd actually love to see Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar...

How cool would it be for the TUF 1 finalists to come back as coaches? They brought Serra as a coach, so Griffin and Bonnar isn't much of a stretch
