Hughes asked GSP first to "show him something" (with a sarcastic voice)
GSP was kinda embarassed because Hughes was CLEARLY laughing at him so he replied "OK but you have to teach me something too" (just to get out of this discussion) then Hughes replied the armbar thing.

Number 1. As Serra pointed out in the show, trash talking is not GSP style.

Number 2. GSP knows 3 languages, I wonder how many Matt Hughes knows. I bet GSP would own Matt big time in French and Portuguese without even trying because Matt Hughes would be speechless.

I actually didnt get that at all. I suppose you could interpret Matt's shenanigans as asshole-icious.. but I think he was really just joking around, and everyone took it the wrong way.

He probably jokes around like that all the time with the miletich boys, and he was loosening up at dinner, cracking a few jokes with a room full of hardened fighters. As others have pointed out before, if you're not tough enough to take a joke...

Not that I have any particular love for Mr. Hughes...

Of course.. building up the hate for a dude you may be staring at from across the cage isn't such an unusual tactic.. I suppose.
