Respect for War Mashine

I know he lost the fight, but most of the guys would have lost it in the first round, and he pulled through it.

very few would defend themselves like War Machine did and as long as he did,

1.he was tired (we all get from a failed submission attempt),
2.he was frustrated (we all get from ....a failed submission attempt),
3.he had blood pouring into his eyes, nose and mouth,
4.he had a stronger wrestler with some killer punches who is very keen on hurting people sitting on him,
5.he still has got to grind through his mental issues (which are not entirely up to him),

with all of the above most would not once turn their face towards Tommy and War did that repeatedly. Tommy imposed his will on War, but War never gave up, eventhough he could hardly walk after the fight. He needs to work on many aspects, but I think he will be a great fighter and I am looking forward to his fights.

WAR WAR

Eh, he's ok I guess, I hope he doesn't do anything stupid like kill himself, he was acting real odd in his on camera interview.

That is some damn wicked power he has in his fists. One good shot and it swelled Tommy up like an alien was going to break out of his skull.

He obviously needs some work on his take down defense. Should have listened to Serra when he told him he was open for take down every time he kicked.

He would have won that fight easy boxing.

i train at the same gym as WM. Never knew all the issues he had inside. But i know his stand up is incredible and he has great KO power. I have NO IDEA why WM went for a take down after landing his 1st punch. He should have been patient and landed that 1st punch and then just stepped back for a second and keep picking his spots to puch at farm boy. he was so close to winning. hope 2 c him fight again.

Mashine, nice one lol.

He needs to work on his take-down defense and just become a more experienced fighter. Over time he will realize what to do and what not to do. Many times Tommy got him on the ground because WM made a stupid mistake.

Sorry, but WM didn't show a ton of heart, he just survived. Which is impressive, but nothing like working through a full RNC while your forehead/nose is split wide open, then dominate the rest of the fight by passing the guard and GNP. No that was Tommy, War Tommy.

I didn't think this epsiode showed War Machine in good light.
Seems like he's trying a bit too hard to be the tough guy, but just isn't there mentally.
He's young though, so maybe he can still get his head together and become a solid competitor.
On the other hand Tommy seemed pretty unflappable, so it'd be interesting to see how he would respond to some top level training and instruction.
