My idea for a TUF season
Being that the talent pool can only be so deep in the states, I think the UFC should take the entire show to another country. Say Brazil, or Japan, and have all contestents fighters from that country and give them a chance to get involved in the UFC that way. I'm sure there are tons of good fighters internationally that just don't have the opportunity to come to the states. To me this sounds like a great idea, what do you all think?

i'd like them to pick up some of the Robbie Lawler's, Mayham Millers, and Razor Rob type fighters. Guy's that can really fight yet have personalities UFC could really market to mainstream. Grab some WFA or IFL fighters, build them up and keep them.

But, its not as easy as you're making it sound. It'd be a nice idea but it'd probably cost twice as much to do.

The idea is great, but I would have to agree that it would be very expensive.

It would be a great idea if they could make it happen. It'd be harder than it sounds though... either moving the entire set or working out visas, and finding 16 legit guys that wanna make the trip all the way from Japan or Brazil, possibly for nothing. It would also be less attractive to Dana, because he's more about $$ and less people would tune in to watch 16 guys that didn't speak english. From our standpoint, it's a really good idea though, cuz I agree the UFC needs more talent from those areas and the casual fan would likely get to see fighting styles and techniques that aren't common among fighters from the US.
Maybe they could get it to work for TUF 7 or 8, who knows?

I don't want to watch a show that has ALL subtitles.........
If that show could be sold in it's home country, great.....but I don't want to watch it.
I'd just like to see them go after some guys from Brazil, Japan, Russia, ect...ect....But it looks like they're starting to do that.
