Joe didn't attack or press forward because he know the second he did Manny would go for the take down.

What I wanted to see was some leg kicks by Joe, why they we're standing. He tried a kick but went for Manny's head. Manny is too short in stature and easily ducked it, I think after that first take down, Joe got the deer in the head lights syndrome.

Manny is good, however, I think Joe is a better fighter than what we say last night.

Joe was losing the wrestling and ground part so should have not got into the same situation everytime..should have stood and like bj said "put himself in harms way"...manny is a lay and pray king.

if he keeps on fighting like that, ppl won't pay to see him

Truth hurts huh?, Manny dominated Joe when he was on top maybe you should watch the fight as an objective person instead of a fanatic, Manny owned Joe in everyway possible and claiming anything else is dellusional.
Okay, I'll explain one last time in little words so you'll understand. Manny won. All people say Manny won. Manny on top. Sleepy sleepy. Yawn yawn. No punchy.

In other words no one's arguing that Manny won, he controlled Joe. It was boring to watch. He didn't do any damage. He didn't do anything when he improved his position and always let Joe bring it back to full guard where he proceeded to put his head back on Joe's chest and let everyone watching take a nap.

Watch the Maynard v. Diaz fight to see what a ground fight is supposed to look like.

I am sicken by the amount of people calling Manny style lay&pray when he was working his ass off landing LOTS of hits trying different subs anything to finish, just Joe is slick off his back and was holding Manny arms down but whenever his arms were free he was landing hits.

If you called that fight a Lay&Pray then I suggest you quit watching MMA and watch K1 instead cause as a MMA fan I was standing that whole fight it was very exciting and Joe almost turned the tables a few times and Manny just skilled his way out of it.

While what Manny did wasn't exactly lay'n'pray, he really wasn't trying to brutally ground and pound Lauzon when he was on top, he was keeping his head pinned on Lauzon to make it very hard for Lauzon to do much of anything off his back, and he just threw blind blows to prevent it from being stood up, and yes he did try for a few submissions but not enough to make the fight entertaining.

Oh come on that's bullshit and you know it. He never once had Joe in trouble other than MAYBE the guillotine that he sunk in in the 2nd, even though I never once thought the fight would at that point. Other than that he just made himself busy enough to not get stood up, which is bullshit. Regardless Joe did nothing with the stand up anwyays. But honestly, everyone should know that if Joe had taken Manny down a couple of time throughout the fight he would have finished with something. Joe is MUCH MUCH better than Manny in guard and on top. Just kinda useless on the bottom.
