Excellent defense is somehow Judo? And that sure looked like wrestling to me.

I've said before, he is the Matt Serra of 155. I'd love to see the two of them fight. They're like the same height with similar builds. Talk a good game as well...hahaha

There is a LOT of overlap in the grappling arts. Many basic movements are found in all grappling arts, they are just given different names.

Joe looked clueless when he wasn't the aggressor.

Joe had a massive strength disadvantage and lost due to it.

He nailed Manny's gameplan: Stay on top for 15 minutes without trying to finish the fight.

What a waste of a finals slot.

He isn't like Serra, Serra doesn't have a big strength advantage nor does he have the same controlling style...

Joe immediately goes for a kick that Manny capitalizes on with a takedown. From there he dry humps Joe for what seemed like an eternity. His ground and pound looked like what a turtle would look like if it were sitting on top of a rabbit trying to swing at its head while still halfway in its shell.

The second round was more of the same. Joe had some pretty slick guillotine escapes which was hard to remember while Manny dry humped Joe some more for another round. Arianny made it all better between rounds.

The third round, Manny again dry humps Joe and one begins to wonder what the fuck Mazagatti was watching for not standing them back up sooner. Joe does get his back in the last minute though but seeing as how Manny's shoulder/head radius looks like a mini version of Juggernaut from X-Men, Joe can't lock anything in.

I should clarify that I'm not one of the whiny bitches bitter because my "boy" didn't make it (Joe). Joe, Manny, and Nate were my top 3 picks to make it. But a) Joe looked sluggish and b) Manny won in the most boring fashion ever.
