What the fuck are you talking about, dropping out of HS? Don't talk out of your ass, it makes you look like a tool.
I keep seeing that he went to the U on an academic scholarship. Never seen actual proof or a legit source, though.

It's really cool that Kimbo came to MMA, he brought loads of fans with him. It isn't cool that he was headlining shows, guy was a rookie. Shame on eliteXC for that.

Thankfully UFC have put him in the correct position and everything is going swimmingly.

I didn't read the whole thing but you said he didn't look bad in any fight but the Seth fight and thats just wrong. He looked bad in the Thompson fight.

He's not "that bad."

People just like to hate on him because he caught a lot of lucky breaks to the big show.

Based on Dana's radio interview where he pretty much confirms the rumours, you may have to lower your idea of "doing well".

I think if he doesn't portray the typical gangsta stereotype and shows class in the show then that alone will at least be a small win for him.

Agreed. He falls right in the middle somewhere with much needed improvements to have more than just a punch.

He's really not as bad some people think he is. He has very good natural strength, punching power, and pretty solid technique for his little amount of training.

If he develops good work ethic and shows that he can take criticism from a good coach he could be a pretty solid fighter. I know a lot of MMA fans don't like the idea that a guy from the hood with a little bit of training can beat up some of their heroes, but no doubt the dude is an athlete with aggression, decent technique and potential.

I hope he does good just so I can hear people cry about how bad he is for the sport.
