No, but for real. This is the reason I don't believe Kimbo will ever amount to much of a fighter in mma, and it is the aspect often overlooked. People talk about how green Kimbo is but he has been training for mma longer than Marcus has. Marcus never threw a punch or locked an arm before two years ago. Kimbo should have better jits. Obviously not the case.

ts youy sound stupid marcus has been training at gracie tampa for over 2 years the guy even has a gracie jiu jitsu tatoo on his back.marcus is probally like a reverse cheik kongo all ground game no stand up.

Personally, I was really disappointed with Kimbo's apparent lack of a ground game.
In TUF, he seems like he's a total ground newbie.

I thought he was training hardcore for years already? With Rutten? I haven't kept up with the Kimbo news, but what has he been doing for the past few years?

Kimbo also didn't take shit seriously when he was with Bas. He knew he was the whole show for EliteXC and didn't give a shit. I think if he really is serious about what he is doing now with ATT he will be fine...maybe not a champ or a great fighter but someone who at least doesn't basically give up all movement when on the ground.

You guys are ignoring the fact that Kimbo was fighting big country, a guy with a great ground game.

Marcus.... well, he was fighting a striker. And the guy looked like one on the ground too.

Big difference in opponents. But i'm all for you guys bashing Kimbo for every reason under the sun. Did you know his real name is Kevin Ferguson? It's not Kimbo Slice!!!!

Seriously, though, his ground game looked terrible for a guy who trained with bas rutten.
