He dont mentioned or show that he got clowned and submitted 3 times before that.

The second fight was the infamous kneebar, and was only one submission, cus Bas didnt reach the rope for the rope-break rule.

Bas is a good talker. A good fighter as well, but Ken always had his number.
Yeah but when Bas fought against Shamrock he was still a rookie while Ken was right into his prime.

If you follow that logic, you should discredit him for his Frank Shamrock wins. Frank had been training for 6months before their first fight. But I dont see any nuthuggers mentioning that. In fact, the win againt Frank is their biggest argument on why hes one of the GOATs.

And to say Bas was a rookie is not entirely true. He was a good striker. And had been fighting in Pancrase for over two years. And he had submission wins and KOs before their fight as well.

Look, Ken Shamrock was a beast and is justifiably a hall of famer, but it's not like Bas sucked. Those losses to Ken were fairly early in his career, and after that he went undefeated in 12 straight fights which included such opponents as Maurice Smith, Frank Shamrock, etc.

Ken Shamrock deserves alot more respect than many people give him. I like him and Bas, but I believe both times Bas fought Shamrock he had very little knowledge of submissions, and has always been known for his poor takedown defense.

Bas trained with freaking MASAKATSU FUNAKI for SIX months before his first fight with Ken in 1994. He knew submissions. Bas makes so many excuses for his losses it's ridiculous.
