I agree with this. Riddle was trying to work his way up, and even hit Tim with a few really solid upkicks, but nothing was working. Rampage probably should have given some specific advice, although to be fair, Tim was pretty relentless on top. I don't know that there was much Riddle could have done.

i never once said that rampage was the reason for the loss, maybe you should pay closer attention to someones post before you assume. Wow people posting before they think never ceases to amaze me.

im on the side of the people who think Rampage did what was right. the kid needed to stand up and he was in a position that was easy to do so, but he choose not to listen. when he was on his back yeah Rampage could have walked him threw it but sometimes that helps the guy on top more then the guy on the bottom. funny thing about that fight though is both fighters didnt listen to there coachs. Forrest was screaming for Tim to not armbar Riddle and i think that was a bad coaching move because i think Tim could have lost the fight to the judges at that point.

Yeah I agree, It made me think of the part in Bad News Bears where the coach is like take a hit or hit a ground ball, and he hits a homerun but the coach is pissed he didn't listen to him.
I think not listening to there coach will end up hurting them in the long run, The Red headed kid should have stood up but he confessed that he kept going back to wrestling because it's a second nature to him. It pissed me off to that he had the guy tired and taking hits unanswered on the feet and he takes him down.. I would think common sense would at least come into play even if your wrestling is something you like to use.
That BJJ black belt wasn't very impressive to me, when a guy takes you down to your best place and your a BJJ black belt you should dominate I would think but instead he was getting muscled around and making mistakes, maybe he was nervous, but his attitude was a bit much. I think that's why forrest said just wait it out because he looked really gassed and if the Kid flipped him and landed a couple shots that could have given him the win.

LOL i laughed when i read this...Shamrock is probably the worst cornerman i've seen on the show. It's different on TUF than at a live event because you can hear (clearly) the advice given from the corner, where as at a live event, you can hear some things, but not all of them. I don't know why but one thing that come to mind is early in the Starnes/Grove fight, Starnes took him down and Ken, nonchalantly, says "pass the guard"....WOW, great advice and not only that Ken didn't even sound like he cared one iota what was going on in the ring.

I heard that too, but Riddle figured he had the guy.

I think a distinction needs to be made, when Riddle was on top yelling "get up" is more useful then when Riddle was on his back and Page was yelling "get up" cause i don't think Riddle knew how to get a guy like Tim off him
